The snow below Silcox did not suck........... The Caylors were the right choice today. Tho I found some sharks and scratched up the bases pretty good. No coreshots!

Couldn't pass up a warm up lap on the Cone this morning.
It was deeper than it looked, especially the lower you got.
Can't figure out if we were taking pictures of each other...? The summit was stupid good, wind blown knee deep and then some.
It was a good day to be on the mtn. and just play in the dry light pow pow…

I was going to move on, but since you asked, I will put on some happy glasses and see what I can see:
1. Of the limited runs I took, the snow was some of the best I've seen here. I cleared my windshield by blowing on it.
2. Met some chill boarders who showed me a few jumps off CCX.
3. Some chill, retired jeweler named Kirby gave me a buddy pass and wouldn't take money. I need to track this guy down and give him money.
4. I got to go through the lift line at sunrise, which always restores my faith in lift line humanity.
5. My kid didn't break anything (hard to hurt yourself going slow AF).
6. I got to touch something Tap touched.
7. My tempermental generator has been humming on eco mode for 8 hours.
8. Got a sweet RV spot with no need to level 'er out.
9. Tried on some boots I thought I'd love and I do.
10. Wife offered to give me a handy in the trees off I-5 to pass the time while MBSEF tried to remember how to run a race.
11. got an epic laugh out of Bachy's website saying 1" since 6am as I wiped 5 inches of blower off my back bumper.
12. Last but not least, my wife isn't back in the saddle again after her surgery. She walked up to the race, but didn't have to walk back (well, until she got to the bottom of rainbow).

Sweet! Tell him I tried to chase him down on CCX but could not find. Couldn't meet him at 11am as kid was racing, but he made my day. Long live Kirby!
