heading to Bend this weekend. Seems like every campground and hotel is booked. Any Bend mags got any bright ideas on a place to park the camper that doesn't involve too much of a commute out into the woods?

Me and SVS are heading up to timberline Saturday for some July turns if anybodyís got the itch for some turns. Possibly skinning above Palmer but thatís all suncup and rockfall dependent Iíd say... got plenty of space for folks to crash Friday night if youíre driving far or want to ski with a hangover.

How close do you want to be? Thereís BLM land out along the Powell Butte Hwy, about ten miles from town...

That works. That's the kind of spot I've been trying to find. Got a few potentials. One just off China Hat looks super close.

Sheeeeit... What about moonshine and horses? Worth the drive either way, but especially if you got time for a propane campfire s'more and a drink.

Has a GoFundMe been set up yet?

    18-19 Orygun, The Thread

I saw one back on the day before Tap posted, but it was empty at the time, and it was unclear to me that it was the one that is being referenced for the Aug 1 event. Last I checked it was still the only one I could find. I figured Iíd just wait for official confirmation.

Oh fucking boy - Mt B is adding ZIP LINING in 2020!!!
THE ULTIMATE HIGH ALPINE SKY ADVENTURE
Next year, we are elevating the adventure and taking it to the skies. Soar through the high alpine like never before with the addition of a zip line to Mt. Bachelorís mountain experience. This dual-line, three-stage tour drops 1,400 vertical feet along the volcanoís slopes to make it the Northwestís steepest, fastest, and highest-elevation zip adventure.

Ride the wind at your own pace with the zip trolleyís self-controlled braking system and race your friends on two side-by-side lines on each zip span. The multi-stage tour launches from an elevation of 7,800 feet, above the tree line at the top of Pine Marten lift, and allows riders to fly over open bowls, off-piste skiable terrain and Central Oregon's unique volcanic landscape. Visit Mt. Bachelor to feed your need for speed year-round on snow, dirt, water and now coming soon ó air!
