I have been doing my end of year trip to Bach for the past 10 yrs... I use to do this trip during Springbreak and the mountain and town were a cluster fuck... A couple of years we started doing the trip the second week of April and have never looked back... We are leaving next Tuesday and will be there for 8 days... All of our favorite hangouts are quiet and when it snows can pretty much ski untracked all day... Plus you can't beat the spring pass for $200...

Your pic speaks volumes to me... Enjoy your trip...!

We plan to be there the weekend of the 13th and 14th. It would be great to make turns with you again! Hopefully those are untracked turns!

It was a Bachelor Bacon & Beer day. Flat light, icy on top soft on the run out. Fortunately I was skiing with the Alpental crew. Hardy bunch. Safe travels till next time.

Grateful Dead Birthday Band is gonna be at Timberline for post shred jams on Labor Day.
Also the senate passed the permanent daylight savings time bill. Now just up to the house to approve an extra hour on the unlit runs at Skibowl. IMO it's very nice to ski powder keg down to the car when they are racing on Reynolds.
Looks like a wet and windy weekend coming up but I still have not skied in April 2019 and I have a towel.

We’re gonna ride T-Line this weekend. Will be up with the wife on Sat and by myself on Sunday. 50/50 shot it will be fun and fresh or fun but soggy and wet. April skiing at its finest.

No sun up on Hood today, just a few inches of soft snow up high and lotsa precip of the wet variety down low. Ain’t a thing, that’s why we have Goretex

By the looks of the live stream from the top of Blue, you'd think it is still February.

I'll take those odds. I've been cooped up and need to get outside rain or shine. I'll let you know when I get up there.

You gonna be up there Sunday skiing or do you just wanna get the pond skim going a month early? Thought it was lax season! I can use a hardy soul next to me on the chair, and a friend to drink a beer with while we dry off

Cold, moderate to high winds, fresh snow and more expected throughout the day. Join us from 9am - 4pm. ODOT has closed Timberline Road both ways due to multiple accidents. The road will reopen as soon as ODOT has deemed the road safe for travel.
