Just happen to have a pair of vintage skinnies that can crush those silly rocks. We can mount a stool on the tails for that backseat effect.....

Not the greatest conditions most of the day
But it started to snow around 2p and the boy was inspired to hit this drop

They’re 12 year old GS race skis from college that are just for hardpack groomer duty a few times a year so no biggie.

With enough screws and epoxy they’ll live on. Already got the sidewall back together.

The irony was that I did this in the middle of a groomer coming down Cascade.

I was surprised at how sneaky a couple sharks were in the middle of groomers, especially in low viz times of day, but damn.

Got soaked to the bone at Meadows on Saturday. Pretty good in the morning though.

    Friday was gorgeous.

I played in the mountains this weekend, albeit a different sort. It pays to have another way up while the hill fills in.

If that's what they buy as a primary ski, buying a used beer league slalom, gs or even an old school pipe ski to complement it makes sense. Assuming one knows how to ski

    normally I’m a slut for 10” overnight

but arriving after hours and hours of steady rain over an already thin base, I’m going to pretend this is base builder and not a pow day

I look forward to your pics making me sorry for staying home

Maybe it will at least cover the gravel infused runout to MHX?

Agree. I'm shooting to start the season next Monday. Anything under 3 feet at the base makes for some very boney shit to ski.
