I think a lot of folks bailed at 11, but it also looked like a lot of people were showing up at 11 too. Nice dry and light pow this morning. Too bad the viz went to crap but my back was not going to make it much past noon.

Question about typical spring snow depletion ... Bach has 120” on the ground right now. How does that compare to typical for mid-March, and how does that bode for May ski coverage?

April would have to be as warm as February was cold for the shark population to be much of a concern by mid-May.
I believe we're slightly above average now, and we frequently plan mother's day Bachy trips. A few times, we've had nice pow days in May on an empty mountain.

Thanks! Between my concussions and shoulder surgery and our newborn, my wife has only gotten 1 day in this season ... hopefully once I can actually pick up my kid again we get her a few more at Bachelor and use up my TGR vouchers.

They will most likely still have a ton of snow on closing day. Currently they are advertising a May 26th closing day. Unless there is some sort of eruption or super freak weather event I imagine there will still be plenty of snow for people to ride the lifts and slide down on May 26th.

Ok, I get to race my kid this weekend in a costume. Need you guys to decide what my costume will be. This might need its own thread with a photo confirmation when the deed is done. No pride or shame, but it probably has to be PG.

Bend/ Bachelor crew,I apologize in advance for bringing the high pressure with me. Must have used my good weather luck up in LCC last month. I will be getting into Bend wed night - Monday. Would love some Bachelor advice as this will be a first time blindly at a new mountain in a while. Anyone around to make some turns / drink some beers let me know! Any and all recommendations for both mountain and town greatly appreciated !

Meadows was fucking titties, and empty. Though high winds kept Star on standby all day. Tomorrow should be pretty awesome.
