Yep. I am going regardless at some point. I may be solo if it's absolutely horrid, but either way, I'll be making turns followed up by micro beers. I have faith there will be some goodness at some point.

I am actually working in bellevue now, and plan to visit the famous padded seats, but do not think I can swing BBI as it looks like it's presidents day weekend. That will be a long weekend with the family. My trips to Alpental will mostly be night skiing I am guessing.

As for Oregon this spring, nothing that I have heard, but our plan is to be there for Spring Break, it would be great to meet more mags if the schedules align. Something to plan as we get closer I reckon.

    You doing BBI?

Well, that was unexpected. Snow levels stayed below 5k - Meadows and Timberline reporting 10" with more expected throughout the day. Game on for afternoon/night skiing if the temps stay low?

I'm looking into something like this to attach to my awning. We'll be at or above capacity inside the camper, but 3 or 4 guys could get by just fine with a Mr. Buddy heater and cots in there. Rustic but cheap. Let me know if there's interest and I'll take my search more seriously. (Would still be cool for chuck wagon time anyway).

If the roads are dry and forecast is dry, I can probably snag my buddy's cargo trailer as well... Slightly less rustic.

Just won some Bachelor tickets through work and trying to get up there right before xmas since my folks are in Ashland. How's it skiing/ how's it going to get with this precip coming in?

Stoked to get back to go back since the last time I went was 2016 and got caught by a snow snake the day before xmas that caused a minor mcl tear than ruined that season
TLDR; Ski faster. Quit breathing. Don't crash.

Congratulations on a win. The groom is skiing well with no shark on the headwalls
The Grottos are also in good shape with some tree tops still exposed. Ridges not so much. Needing another foot or so which looks possible by 12.24.18.

Or a tent attached to an awning.

That awning is pretty cool. Might want to consider a kerosene vs propane heater for overnight accommodations since water vapor is a byproduct of burning propane. I use a buddy heater on my boat for fishing and it definitely makes it moist in the cabin.

Just something to think about if you need to buy a heater, but if you already have a propane heater it would probably be fine with good airflow.
