I figured when I saw the frost this morning in Eugene, after yesterday’s hard and cold rain that today would be awesome at the Doo.

Speaking of Tele, anyone got any old 26.5 or 27 soft flex tele boots that would work well for a waxless touring setup? Once my girl is old enough I wanna get some Vector BC’s or if I can’t find any, then BC125s for tromping around with the baby on my back. Right now all I have are 110 flex 9.5 lbs freeride AT boots ...

Oh yeah, obligatory 5 day old stoke ... she’s got huge feet and super strong legs and neck, future ripper!

woohoo! congrats, man! super happy for you!

Ah yes... taken from the obligatory Stryker sleeper/recliner. I know them well--as well as the "get me the fuck out of this hospital" face. Congrats!

In other news, it's going to be sunny and firm this weekend. Great race weather. Lunch plans at the camper are uncertain, depending on my race volunteer schedule, but apres ski on RV row is available.

benk and I went hiking in a heather-adjacent canyon. Evidently yesterday there were 20-30 people touring up there, today there was just us plus a couple others. Moar pow for us I guess. Heather looked pretty great across the way.

mountain was looking beautiful by midday

    benk was happy

Was such a great snow day yesterday. We caught the tail end of it and finished tracking out Skibowl.

Meadows was sexual yesterday. FKNA! It's amazing how rad that place can be without the gaper hoards, traffic and concrete.
