With a 7am arrival, traffic was ok. Beater quotient was low. It was slicker than normal but no upside down subis in the ditch.

Dawn patrol on CS again today. Knee deep snow below treeline everywhere. Waist deep on the lee side of things. Simply incredible.

Only regret of the day was not begging my way on to the snowcat that was headed up the road. Could have had a third lap!

Will be at Bachelor tomorrow, green/black/brown northface jacket, black helmet.

Careful out there folks, 26/35 junction looks bad right about now.
Gnar. Headed over in a few hours. Should be interesting...

ETA: Skiing Bachelor solo tomorrow. All red, Billy Goats. Ask for change.

Likely trying to take the shuttle so the wife can have the wheels for the day. If anyone wants to give a ride tomorrow; beers on me. PM

Lift lines weren't as bad as an obvious powder day. Today seemed like sort of a sleeper but it was oh so good. More stoke to follow...

Tomorrow will be even better if Cascade opens (seeing as how it wasn't really open today for more than a few minutes).

Great to check out the rig and take a few hot laps with you today. And you've got way more "presence" in the air than my kid

Much obliged, but I flailed my arms a bit. Also, I'm not 8 yrs old.

You guys are added to the open invite list. Thanks for the laps and the BG A/B'ing.

No arm flailing here, but I think you need pants/jacket that aren't the same color as cliffs.

Big time fun at Bachelor yesterday, Snow skied deeper than the 1" of new they had measured at opening. Lapped untouched goodness on Crowdchaser til about 1pm. Had one long wait in the lift, other than that is was ski right on! Lots of good tingling and ripping with some buddies. Taking a break from shoveling my driveway as we speak and planning out my call in sick message for tomorrow! ITS DEEP.

I was probably 3 people behind you. Skibowl was tits today after the race crowd went to said event. Outback opened 10:30-11ish and was deep. I broke trail for the traverse to get back to upper bowl chair. Fun, deep day and a good first outting of the year at the Bowl.

Almost too heavy and deep to ski on 30 deg slopes in the backcountry... barely made it down this one!
