Great couple of days skiing in the sun with great people! I’m tired and the good kind of sore!

Thx, Forty, for the wine! (I ended up with 4 of them! )

Thx Gepmeow & TBS for the guiding

Puma & fam, glad to get reacquainted!

NW_skier & Kopi Red, glad we got to hang a little today.

ACH, glad you were able to cross over with us while we were there. You guys will have fun this week with no one there!

Mattig & Flowing alpy, always fun to hang with you & the fams. Looking forward to next time!

(Jonesy, we missed you! Tap, you too!)

Great fucking group of people, as always. Echo on missing those who couldn't make it. My wife especially missed jonesy for some reason and kept talking about it. Wish I were joking, but look at the guy... I get it.

Work buddy got me good this morning. He mentioned that Bachelor was adding a new lift...up the Cinder Cone. Took me about 10 seconds to process that April Fools joke.

Great times this weekend. Bachelor delivered the spring goods.

Thanks to all who helped to put together such a nice spread of food. It was good to make turns with ya all again, and great meeting new mags! Enjoy the week ACH!

    We all missed Jonesy!!!

it's live now. 2600 adult, 2000 for younger/older folks (24 and under or 60 and over).

Links are on this page: https://www.skihood.com/resort-servi...old-membership

notable: it's only 1x $100 fee to decline liability waiver for all 5 years. I always do that just in case. There's also a small discount for ski check if you're into that sort of thing.

    Season pass is $600?
Don’t think I would take that deal

    $600 x 5 = $3000.

    $3000 > $2600

Plus, 2 free buddy passes are nice. We normally have to pay for them.

Plus, can transfer to one person per year, so if I ever don't need it, can rent it out for the year.

    Either way, too late now!

Mattig., why did you pay $100 to deny liability waiver. Didn't really think about that. Too late now

In the unlikely event that one of us gets hurt due to ordinary negligence on the part of MHM (which is typically waived, and actually can hold up in court, despite popular opinion), I'd just want to have a logical set of legal rights available. It's probably nothing that a great lawyer couldn't get around if they were really in the wrong, but I figure being able to show that I paid extra to specifically forego the waiver would only strengthen the case if it comes up. Hopefully, I'll never have any firsthand experience to share on that front.

And now to get this thread back on track with some Bachy stoke that AC snapped of my kid (wouldn't have believed it without the photo):

I guess all he needed to get off the ground was to ski with other crazy kids instead of his old man.

seems close enough...I'll work on the framed award...

last year I paid less than $500 (with points figuring in) for the season & being a multi-year passholder.
they announced that even multi-year passholders were gonna be $599 this coming year.
$2600 is $520/season locked in for 5 years.
seems reasonable to me...just gotta do some cashflow to balance with taxes coming up...
hopefully, there isn't a rush on these

I think it would have been more of a rush at $2k. And I don't think $2600 is quite low enough for me to deserve my award.

Nice! Looks familiar. The fam and I skied Bachy Thursday and it was skiing very nicely before we had to bounce out of central Oregon. I was quite jealous seeing everyone convene

Surely flow. Nice photos too. Mattig got some grippy edges going on. Tbs will need to reach terminal velocity for an airtime. Welp a little moist today and we pussied out on Heidi by 130. Great skiing with Alpental chargers & powmeow.
