Going to be heading up to see some family in PDX for Thanksgiving. Is it worth bringing the rock skis?

Probably just hike the features at PDX proper but I bet you only get one hit before security throws you out
Head downtown and you can probably session for a bit if you are lucky

Leaving for AK tomorrow morning. You can thank me for the snow that's incoming. Oh, and I HAVE been training for AK.

I was up around Meadows yesterday. Not enough accumulation to bust out the skis.

Tomorrow morning looks promising. Let's get the new thread up and running.

“as long as you don’t jinx it”... “7 day/week lift ops this weekend”

Always somebody else’s fault, isn’t it?

Got an early start from mhm with mag backwards_banana. It’s deep even in the parking lot, 2ft or so. Still nuking. Made it up to 6k on the west boundary and got in some short laps. Scored first face shots of the season and it felt ohhhh soooo good.

Super windy coming from the east - windward slopes are scoured clean, leeward slopes are fucking deep. Really fucking deep. Very low density snow made travel and skiing difficult, lots of sinking in... wish I had a pair of 150mm fatties.

    Mediocre for Nov 27...

One more pic to add... for reference, my pole is in my left hand and not touching ground. The magic of wind transport, eh?
