I normally ski meadows but I am going to take my daughter to timberline this year for some family skiing. Is getting a 5 pack the best way to go or does anyone else know of a better way to get discount tickets at timberline?

How old is your daughter and what level?
When my boys were just getting started, I used the spring pass to get a lot of skiing in at Timberline from March to June. They always run a stay at the lodge mid week and get a Spring Pass deal, and with that pass you can get the discounted kid’s passes.
With all that said though, the best deal are Fusion Passes because you are good to go all-year at Ski Bowl and Timberline.

T Line 5 Day Flex is $265 (before 11/3) and the spring-pass is around $170ish, so that’s a total of $465. Why not buy a T alone season pass for $549 or the Fusion for $649?
For the few days that I had day tickets instead of passes, I found myself much more pushy to ski more when my boys were clearly done for the day. Having passes meant the costs were already sunk; therefore, I didn’t mind the long coco breaks, building snowmen on the Mile, impromptu snowball fights, or the late-to-arrive-and-early-to-leave days that makes it all fun.

Went up to Timberline optimistically thinking I’d be able to skin from the climber’s lot and get in some machine compacted glacier scraping turns. No continuous snow until Palmer midstation, so said fuck that, left skis in the car, and turned it into a trail run instead. The friend I was with happens to be a turns all year nerd, so he was all stoked to ski and ended up skiing from the top of Palmer. We need some precip!!!!!!
That said, the mountain biking is really good right now and don’t mind another week or two of this dry high pressure and good mtb dirt...

I'd be happy with some rain at this point. Opening by December is now in jeopardy

Lots of snow north of the border, eh? Likely worth a short early season migration.

If meadows or Bachelor doesn’t open by Mid Dec, I may have to do that.
