It looks like Saturday will be a good(ish) ski day and Sunday will be a better party day. I'm preparing to have a trailside cheese & charcuterie, beer sampling, music jamming shitshow on Sunday as temps climb into the 40s and we maybe get some sunshine. Capes are encouraged but not required. I expect that I will do more partying than skiing. I don't know what will go in the mini-keg tomorrow, but my local growler fill station is showing Juice Bomb available so I intend to have a gallon of that. Behind the top sled shack is still the preferred location. I will recruit volunteers to bring stuff up Sunday morning.

I'm liking the looks of what fell overnight (and is still coming down). Should be an amazing Spring Fling day/weekend. Gonna ski hard till 3, then retire to the bar @ sunshine corner. FKNA

Jerry you picked a good one for your 1st visit in years. We’re usually around the tables upstairs by the most annoying giant game of Connect 4 ever. Say hello if so inclined. Lhasa’s on the hill. See you all in a bit

Magic Mountain 18/19: We aren't a resort, aren't we
If you missed being at Magic today, you missed GetAmped’s delicious summit spread. Yes that’s smoked rainbow trout. Yes, that’s jamon serrano. Yes, that’s soppressata. Oh, and yes, that’s a keg of Sloop Brewing ‘s Juice Bomb.
Mrs. P decided to show us all up and skin up 2 different mountains today and crush a Chinnoker’d at the top of Red, a Cloud Drop at Sunshine Corner (thanks, MNIAW), and then really start to party at the sugar house after we split from the mountain. #badass

The GetAmped fiesta! Wish I coulda been there.
I'd like to put out a feeler for my parents who are looking for a place to rent as they try on Vermont for retirement. They have two well behaved medium size dogs, and would like 2+ bedrooms and bathrooms. Budget $1,000 to $1,700 depending on the place. Prefer circle or rural to town. 6mo or 12mo lease. Let me know if you know of anyone looking for established, responsible renters. Thanks!Day Man. Fighter of the Night Man. Champion of the Sun. Master of Karate and Friendship for Everyone.

It may look grim but hell we had some fun Saturday. Shade was the key. Goniff, Twilight & Slide in particular skied great. Tali too of course. Still plenty on that one.
It'll be ugly but fun as always. Classic Magic spring adventure skiing.

Fun last day today. The shenanigans were somewhat tamer than years past but there was fun to be had. Snowmaking trails were money.
Big thanks to DoWork and his crew for another stellar season.
