^^Sorry I will miss it. I skied with the co-founder of Shejumps many years ago. Sounds like a great organization.

so great seeing magic thriving. magic used to sponsor the jisp program for flood brook elementary in the 70s so have fond but blurry memories of the place. i raced on the timber ridge ski team bitd but never hear that zone mentioned in magics reincarnation. doesnt magic own that side of glebe? arent the tbar and lift still there? is that area in future plans?

Ski Magic, LLC does not own the Timber Ridge side. It's has been privately owned well before the recent ownership purchased Magic. The lift and t-bar are both gone. Luckily the private owner on that side is a great friend of Magic and provides his support for Magic skiers and riders in many ways.

We were thinking where the hell is he going & watched him send the disc golf tee which is basically a big pile of rocks onto rocks. Haha. Have fun buying that boy skis.
Gimpy check the Timber Fb page for some goings on over there. you might even find a pic of yourself.

Several very old pics of the race team on there.

No doubt, he is just light enough to not completely destroy skis before he outgrows them. His poor sister gets to Inherit them.

Going to Magic next weekend with St. Jerry Junior. Haven't been in 30+ years. Excited!
Gimme five, I'm still alive!
Ain't no luck, I learned to duck!

Free ski day next Friday thanks to Lycored. They gave away grilled cheese and tomato soup at the base of Red last year.

Magic Mountain 18/19: We aren't a resort, aren't we
I hope they give away more neckie tubes again, I finally worked my way through a handful of the ones they were giving away last year.
Cool company, very fun to work with and everybody is next-level nice. I have never used their supplements but Lycored is alright with me!

Was up there for just my second visit on Saturday. Of course, conditions were not ideal just like most of the EC but Magic did a good job recovering. I am especially appreciative that they shut down the west side for two hours to groom it out. That move saved the day for me. I feel like a lot of mountains wouldn’t have put in the effort. I definitely understand why you guys love the place so much. Wish I could get back for the shovel races.
