Nice. That's better than I expected actually. With how things looked on Saturday, I was worried about some places getting really badly undermined. Sounds like it should be a strong base for the season!

Vibes to Mrs. MSB. Hope to keep her in the club a long while.

Somebody needs to jump on this. Closer to the lifts/lodge than my place and no maintenance to worry about. Truly stumbling distance (downhill) from the Tavern. With all the incredible live music this year, there's going to be lots of stumbling...

Those Magic study sessions + White Russians got me through grad school.

I’ll hopefully be up in a month or two...recovering from knee surgery!

I know you folks aren’t into gear so this is probably a long shot.

In an epic fail, I managed to pack everything for the season, from diapers to skins, and then left my ski bag with all my clothes sitting on my bed. In the bag sits my new fancy ski jacket and pants (with zippers that close!).

I will be skiing tomorrow with little MSB who can barely contain her stoke. However, I don’t want to ski in jeans if possible. Not saying I won’t, but if you folks have an extra pair of ski pants or a jacket to spare I would be most appreciative.

Moving this to the front page for y'all.

Looks like it'll be a 2-3 degree side bevel weekend.

I'll be at Okemo this weekend. Not by choice but necessity.

That's a weird poll, but Boston is a weird place. The Pico vs Stratton bracket is interesting. Like Ricky Bobby vs Jean Girard.

Is it worth anything? I can try and get you one.

Magic needs a few celebrity condo owners. Now that the Hermitage is falling on hard times there should be some interest in establishing a new ski utopia. Though we may have to wait for this stock correction to reverse itself. It came at a bad time.

Okemo has a lot more visitors, guessing a bunch of people voting think "ski area I've been to" vs. "ski area I've never been to".

    Plus, Boston.

Spring like skiing yesterday. Sorcerer was the run of the day.

Goniff snapped this pic of me coming down his namesake trail.

Also just to keep everyone up to date, there is a slight change in the uphill policy. Get a free ticket at the booth before heading up. When you get back to the bottom, show the your ticket for one free chair lift ride.

Looks softer (read better)down south. Burke skiing pretty fast and firm yesterday. Definitely worth it though. Finally got out this season.

^Peruvian was making crappy snow look good on Saturday. It was worse yesterday. Anything ungroomed was a sure plan to have to visit your dentist.

Still coming to ski Dec 27! Considering ski selection (with current and upcoming conditions in mind)... Volkl BMT 94mm underfoot vs. DPS Wailer 112mm? Drinks Dec 26 at the bar?

Although the forecast is calling for 3-5" on the 27th, I don't think you will need the Wailers.

I'll likely be the guy in blue ski pants directing you in the parking lot.

^^Perhaps rope off a special section for Canadians only.

What's the edge bevel on the BMT's and Wailers? It's shaping up to be a 2-3 degree bevel weekend again.
