Jebus, for a JONG you nailed it son! Nicely done man. And, I think your dad's a mutant. Congrats!

Cool pics, thanks for sharing
*I don't think you can call yourself a JONG after a trip like that.

Great TR, thanks for sharing. I haven't had time for any major tours like that, but hopefully soon. I've done a couple of 1,000 mile loops on my Honda Africa Twin, and my KLR (lost in the fire.) The KR is the most slid ADV bike going, probably wouldn't have had to wait 5 days to repair. Slow, but will cruise at 70mph loaded. As a friend noted when I said I bought a KLR, "There are more KLRs going around the world right now then all other bikes combined."
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Incredible journey for a supposed to be "newbie biker". You are surely born to ride.

I am stoked that sharing this adventure can help encourage fellow maggots to get out there and extend yourselves no matter what the challenge.
It doesn't matter if you're a jong, or what bike you ride, or how long or far you go.
The triumphs perceived and dilemmas conquered along the journey are the destination.
The adventure of life is in believing and doing, so get out and do it!
I hope to meet you out here one day.
