Had a leaky rear wheel that needed to be retaped which kicked the 1x project off. Finished last night and got a ride in this morning. Ended up with a $20 Amazon aluminium NW chainring and moved my 11-46 cassette over from my trail bike. So far, so good.

Finally weighed the parts I took off. Looks like I saved about 1.25# from the FD, shifter, cable and guessing, ring, bolts, etc. I'm pretty sure that the cassette is lighter too, so maybe closer to 1.5#.
