Mount Disraeli, Cambria Icefield, northwest of Stewart B.C. Flight to the Deep Creek zone with Last Frontier Heliskiing. Skied the sunlit stuff right off the peak back in 2007 doing personal lines at about the same date and same time as when pic was taken...twas a dream descent. Nice to re-view old lines with fresh eyes.

My first time skiing there but my buddy who lives in Moab says it's the first time he's seen the n face of Tuk skiable without a rappel in a while. I think they're at 140% of average? Great time to be there.

Snapped off a few roadside sand ski lines en route to some snow skiing recon work on logging roads. Nice way to break up the drive to and from. It was unintended 'leave no trace' skiing as the sand self groomed after turns were completed. Twas kinda twilight zoney weird, actually...

    Nice Dolphinski!

I got out on the 23rd and skied Abineau with the Mayor. Like an idiot I didn't buckle down for the climb and got some good blisters on my heels and some gnarly shin bang. These things happen when you get up off the couch after a 7 week hiatus . The hike out on the last 1.5 miles in ski boots was a tad bit rough but all worth it.

What a season! I've been here for 19 years and I think this was the most consistently best touring conditions I've seen here in that time. A lot of years the shit winds destroy the alpine nearly every storm but not so much this season. Good work on getting after it! As I've said before I love seeing this new energy out there, lawd knows I struggle to have that, unless it's on 100%......then I get stoked still!

Forgot about this thread. I think most of these are cross posts from Colorado Weather Discussion or Doggie Stoke, but this thread needs to stay alive.

It’s springtime in Alaska. Damn trees are budding. They’re confused.
