SW trajectories do not favor the ghee.

Drive around Palisades was 20 miles of black ice this morning, death defying.

Probably a good thing my Monday morning pass lap couldn’t happen. Jealous of everyone at the Village today.

Let’s make plans to ski in a couple weeks. Good to see ya even for a few.

Hope it’s still getting good. I’ve been stuck in Denver all day trying to get there. Our hut trip got pushed back a day, so we may hit The Ghee tomorrow. Any thoughts on that vs JH?

The way things are going, I'd go to whichever resort is closer to your lodging and the hut. Pass closing again at 0300 for avalanche control.

even snow king was fantastic, over the head. 2 feet deep at least of perfectly spongy bouncy pow in the trees. didn't know the king could get like that.

Just want to shout out to Djongo for the discount passes (and alwayslost) to the Ghee and leading my crew around a bit the other day at the Vil. Didn't see you on Sunday but worked out just fine. Amazing conditions the last few days, not sure I'm going to bother skiing in CO after that...

Had to take today off to be with my ailing old pet. Some shots of snowloads; Some mags have been here to bunker 420 and will recognize the neighborhood.

Been a hell of a cycle and what we needed as we were just barely on par so far. Been holding back here and there to be safe as the vill was not complete yet. Now we're there. Everything has filled in and the fun factor just went up for the season.
Invite my mag friends to come hang, maybe kick it at the bunker. (per my extreme vetting )

    - Rudy, sorry I missed you guys sunday, the crowd chased me away. But skiing was excellent and I knew youse guys didn't need much hep.
Did you get to the pass for a lap? I was concerned as it was a total clusterfuck county wide yesterday...
Hope to make turns with you and Ev again. That boy's a solid skier.
And yer Yosemite bud Dan, liked him plenty, a gamer fosho. Saw Virgie the next day with Bechler, her boy. Tiny world here.

Yeah, about skiing GC today. Only the most skilled local knowledge should have been in there. Days of megaloading and that place is deadly. We don't call it the Darkside cuz it's shaded. And FWIW, if ya don't know a safe line down milelong, then you are in trouble. That is a massive fucking ride down.
And so, telling you the Easy way down from top of Teton lift is highly unlikely.

And yo - SVS - man it's shaping up for ya. Speed factors just jumped up. Forecast is snow showers after you arrive.

    Back to the grindstone tomorrow...

Coming down for a week from canukistan on Saturday. Stationed on the Idaho side.w will get a couple days at GT, and two for sure at JH and a pass day. Generally have been coming every year for 12 years. Have to switch off here and there for the 4yo watching session these days.
If anyone wants the shred a lap in bounds or out any where or have a beer I won't hold you back.
    Stoked for the forcast.

Happy to return the favor up north.
Il be there skiing Sunday to Thursday then heading to big sky. (Making use of the collective)

This incredibly steep and dangerous North facing couloir may not actually be a mile, but it's very long. It drops down into Granite Canyon. Avalanche danger is incredibly high, and during the long exit out of Granite Canyon to the resort, you'll face a path that is threatened by numerous other avalanche chutes above it.
