the jackson hole lodge is a great property for what it is (cheap condos too), but it doesn't have a breakfast buffet. you might be thinking of the lodge at jackson hole, which is decidedly more wife friendly than the jackson hole lodge.

I need a few turns in September to keep the streak alive, so I'll be headed up the tram tomorrow to poke around. I'm hoping the wind will be helpful. Anyone else?

Mangle, I recommend going to Eleanor's instead.

Damn those were some big flakes in town yesterday. I mean the snow...

Def more snow up on Togwotee than on Teton pass.
Higher elevation at 9600 iz gute.

Be careful out there. Some seasons are forfeited in the Fall.

That exceeded expectations. There's 1-2' of dense, styrafoam-like wind buff. I went to the Cody saddle before deciding I didn't want to boot pack back through much more of that. Let's hope it stays cold.

Also, this makes 37 months in a row.

Targhee skied pretty good today. Top 1/3 was fairly rock free, bottom 2/3 you had to ski light. It could use another foot.

ROOM NEEDED. I was offered a job out in Jackson for this winter and I'm looking for a room starting the end of October or 1st of November through April. Looking to keep it under $1000. Non smoker, don't party and a good job lined up out there. Thanks for any help, it's greatly appreciated.

Shameless self-promotion time. It's mud season here, the biking is shutting down fast, and the skiing isn't good yet. So come party with me in Driggs this Saturday. We're having a bike race and dirt jump jam, but it's mostly just an excuse to drink beer and say goodby to bike season. Driggs Bike Park. 9am. Mags who ask me for change at registration get a discount. More info here: www.bemorestoked.com

Right now I've got a couple grand in raffle prizes, and some really cool trophies. Come party!

Also, Melvin donated way more beer than we can drink. It's free. Come take some cans home.

Shady stuff in Two Oceans has been skiing pretty good this week. Should be even better after this next storm.
