I want to. Fucking liberate myself and whatnot. I’m worried about losing puppy pictures and vids. Guess I’ll figure out the cloud.

Facebook does have some utility. Many of the automotive forums I've been on dissolved due to buy/sell/trade and techtalk groups on FB. Aside from that, however, it's hot garbage.

I get that but in this case for me it's not because I feel morally or intellectually superior to anybody it's because that company itself does not have our country's best interest at heart.
