    No, they didn’t rip off Dylan. He wrote/recorded the refrain in about ‘73 and then OCMS wrote lyrics.

    And IMHO, I like both the Crows and Rucker’s version.

    For bluegrass musicians, Wagon Wheel is a running joke. You can pretty much guarantee that someone will request it at every single show you play. It's a fine song, but at this point I'm so tired of it that hearing (or worse, playing it) is like nails on a chalkboard.
