Bindings with fore and aft adjustment

Are there any bindings which allow for fore and aft adjustment like the old Marker Schizos? I still use Schizos today but they are not compatible with WTR boots. Especially on my wider skis I like to adjust position based on snow conditions. Apparently not many people care to do this but I know it keeps me out there longer on powder days...I just keep backing the bindings up as my thighs begin to ache.

are you talking about being able to easily move boot center in relationship to ski center, alpine demo bindings do that but I don't know if WTR boots are recommended in alpine demo bindings ?

Marker Schizos are the best. Hard to find these days though.

Yes, moving boot center to get your weight best for whatever snow conditions are. I don't agree that my weight should be in the same place for light dry powder and sierra cement. From what I see, WTR is for any binding supporting it.

Can you move them without having a boot in the binding? With Schizos I can move the bindings in a minute with boots on my feet.

If your know what you're doing you can. Step out. Adjust. Step in, look back and confirm forward pressure. Done.

You simply need to make sure you move the heel and toe pieces the same number of "notches" when you adjust, and the forward pressure will stay the same, as will your AFD height and release settings. Easy

Bindings with fore/aft adjustment are important for a number of reasons.

The most notable of which is that small ski manufacturers sometimes have trouble marking (more properly: calculating) true ski center on a ski. McSki Corp gave out more free pairs looking for tech feedback than the average house press makes in a year.

Whenever I ski a house/independent ski a almost always find there’s a big difference between where the ski is marked and how it skis. Maybe it’s just me, same difference. Being able to fine tune the relationship between BSL and Ski Center Line is important.

Pseudo off topic: what is the run number each year on a popular ski like the S7 or similar? Somebody’s gotta know.
