Same here jonesy. Hopefully we'll ski laps. I'd love to meet up for turns with anyone here or the other thread or the next thread. It's going to be a great season no matter what the weather is like.

Enjoyed your company last year OD. I'll be floating around hoodoo and bach this season. Will do some backside runs and have beta on side country laps down to lost lake. Puma be safe over the hill and looks like you'll be the kick off TR for this years thread. :-)

Thanks. I sure hope someone gets out and beats me to it!

I'll try to get the family to Hoodoo at some point. With no pass, we are looking to explore much more. I'm going to be in Seattle (Bellevue specifically) a BUNCH this winter, and plan to get a little more familiar with Stevens, Alpental, and Crystal! (With some strategic BC invasions when the stars line up!)

A bit of uncertainty as to rain vs snow next week. Could be really good in 10 days, or meh... Still early though. No complaints

It's going to take a beating. All that base material on the rocks just below the new snow will be good for the base though...

    ski OR(egon) die - 18/19

Not excited to abuse my bases this weekend...watching closely & waiting to see what shows up

Everybody with a pair of skins is sweating for shakedown laps at Tline...it will likely be a conga line

Feel sorry for the poor fools who try to ski it with 18" (before compaction)
I have a pair of K2s with Cone rock embedded in the base when there was 30" of base.
Skjersaas and Pine Mtn gonna be awash in edge and base repairs.

Just watch out for the Hodags. I've seen them reach up through the snow and grab skis just to fuck with people. Hodags are about 30" high but they can be 7' long so they have a long reach and they are very good a hiding. They emit a distinctive skunky smell but they'll try to play it off like it's just legal cannabis.

Possible "preview" weekend for MHM announced. It's going to take rapid excavation and transport of parking lot snow into a WROD to make this work.

It's amazing how the stuff off of Buttercup goes with just a few inches. I have zero shame, and after more than 500 days off snow. I'll take what I can get.
