Nice deal, would the Salomon warranty be valid for US buyers? Warranty is kind of an important thing on a first-year binding.

Just curious, why wouldnt Corbetts help out with warranty if you just ship the defunct bindings back to them in Canada?

I'm actually surprised a Canadian retailer of Salomon can ship their product south. It does not work the other way around (a US retailer cannot ship Salomon product to Canada). But who cares? If they can they can.

Corbetts seems to be super chill with all things transborder. I have had no problems - and really fast shipping - every time ive ordered from them.

Same here. I ordered a pair of Look Pivots from them a few weeks ago and they arrived via FedEx within a couple of days.

Is there a code required? Keeps ending up in my cart at full price.

I had the same issue so I just went ahead and bought them anyway. I then immediately sent them a note with a screenshot of the advertised discounts (before I clicked through) and asked them to apply the discount or cancel my order. Got an email back the next day saying they just applied the discount :-)

I think the sale was supposed to end yesterday, but try calling or chatting with them. I've found them to be very helpful in the past.

... and the value of the CAD is falling. Exchange rate puts the cost at $418 USD a pair now.

I just purchased two pairs of Hawx XTd boots from them. Free shipping to the US. Check with your credit card company to see if your card charges a foreign transaction fee. Many don’t. Some are 3%. Google the CAD-USD rate. Your card should get charged close to that dollar amount straight up.

hmm shows about 1.1 across the board, not bad but not 1.3 like the actual exchange rate

Don’t use the website’s (Corbett’s) to do the CAD to UsD conversion. They will use a conversion rate that is beneficial to them. Most credit card companies use the standard daily rate which is the $1 CAD to .75USD right now. Pay for your item with the CAD on their site. If your credit card doesn’t use a foreign transaction fee, you should only be charged the daily rate which is much better. The credit card company will do their own conversion.

Corbetts sale looks to be over now and Comor doesn’t ship to US.

I changed my mind about the 100mm Atomic Shifts that I bought for $550 CAD, and would sell them for that + shipping ($25ish)

Bullshit. It took longer than I would have hoped to clear customs, but I bought shifts from comor on November 21 and I got mine yetesterday. Paid just over 450 total.

I have a pair in the box from the group buy that I'll sell for $450 in Northlake Tahoe, plus shipping to wherever if need be. Need to money to buy skis.
Like I told my last wife, I never drive faster than I can see, besides it's all in the reflexes.
