We can do without the low land snow events as far as I'm concerned... I don't need another 24" of foothill snow on top of the 8 to 10 I got already.

It will be good for the base though.

There will be a Maggot Mini Summit this weekend at Mission Ridge.

Some Idaho mags are driving west. Some Seattle mags are driving east.

A spirit guide will be available to find wind drifts and avoid sharks. Meet in front of the patrol building around 815.

Dress warm, it's gonna be cold.

Smart folks will flee the lowlands Fri. for locations with better snow removal. Sure, it'll be a good dump but what might happen next week is even better.

Also the trucks can't close the pass if they can't leave the port

So will we see pics of suburban skiing at 1000' from PNW in a week or two? Are there any slopes steep enough to ski that are even clear of brush at those elevations? Maybe some 'quah Alps?

If the east side sees enough snow, yes.

I think I saw something about solar activity being at its lowest in 20 years or something, maybe that has something to do with it?

But do we really call that "skiing", or base tune up?
