Likely headed up to crystal tomorrow since my sister is visiting and she has an ikon pass.
Any mags have a hookup for tickets up there? Painful to spend $80 to get stuck skiing blue runs with her (she's learning).

Your sister's Ikon pass get a discount for purchase of other's tickets. I think.

I'll look into that, thanks for the suggestion! Never had one of the mega passes before.

Ikon pass holders can buy friends tickets at Crystal and get a discount (believe its 20%).

That's odd, they didn't mention the North Bend shuttle:

Yeah, much needed improvement. Now they need to scrap Chair 1 and replace it with a fixed grip quad at the minimum.

Yesterday was all time at Xtal, skiied cold smoke blower from start to finish

Lapped chair 6 cliffs about a dozen times, then hiked the king for another 4 laps of braindamage, Pinball face and two faceshot-filled Silver basin runs

May have been the best day of the season for me so far!

First day ever at Crystal today.
What a rad place. Didn't realize how much cool terrain it had to offer.
Found some pockets of goodness off chair 6 and wish I could have explored more.

No I am not. But in theory N. Idaho should offer similar opportunities.

    Great photos.

Glad this guy is ok, all things considered. Saw the heli and SAR on way to the car and feared for the worst.

We may have crossed paths. I was in the group of 6 sitting on the West side of Henry Creek during the evacuation. (We were asked to hang tight until they had him loaded up). I know several people skied down to us near the end of the evac.

Wishing him a full and speedy recovery, it sounded absolutely horrible and a sobering end to an otherwise incredible day.
