Anything that uses the old I-5 traverse, so it includes Orgasm Meadows, Guntower, Bruce's Bowl, The Anthill, Drift City etc. You don't expect me to name them all? ;-)

I wish they'd reinstate the Northway shuttle.

Yup, everything out that way was what I was getting at, thx!

Northway shuttle would be great to reinstate...

His arm flail to backslap send was indeed 'impressive'.
His IG comment on it, confusing.
"This cliff huck represents the big move @ekking2 and I did a few months ago. East coast -> West coast, Boston -> Seattle, consulting -> tech startup."
So skiing is a metaphor for moving around the country and such? I'm not fluent in IG speak so I may be losing something in translation.

And he taketh away from Revelstoke... crazy drought here since mid January after an all time December and first half of Jan... Have barely seen any snow in 6 weeks, mostly cold and dry and there appears to be no end in site for at least another week or two.

The polar vortex has been pushing it all south. Starting to look like 2014/2015 here except cold. Granted we have it pretty good the last 3 seasons and tend to get a off season every 4-5 years... mid season dry spell isn't out of the question but this looks to be a near 2 month dry spell. with a teasing 10cm every week to keep our hopes up... but in 24 hours with Silverstar getting 30cm, Bigwhite getting 40cm and Fernie getting 50cm....

What's the word on skiing in the Blue Mountains?

As someone trying to get more into backcountry on my AT bindings, are there some areas to do backcountry there?

Also, how is Bluewood? Is the vibe nice? Is the terrain interesting (I know it is small).

    SNOW IN THE PNW 2018-19

I hear it’s a great place to skin up on Mon. & Tues. since the lifts are closed.

Road doesn't get plowed those days either. Take a truck with clearance.

I wouldn't call it interesting terrain. Some steepish trees with good snow.

Most of the local rowdy lines still have ice bulges in them.

Feb was all time goodness but we are still below average for snowfall centrally.

Pretty nice views at Crystal on Friday. Of course the clouds rolled in and obscured Rainier soon after I took this shot.

Twin Lakes couloir skied pretty well yesterday. Will actually ski better with more traffic at this point - some amount of styrofoam that can be broken up. Only after did we realize there’s a 100% easier way to get to the top without booting. Oh well.
