I’ve got a long weekend trip at Stevens planned in early March. Other than their early ticket prices from the official website, where can a poor man get discount tickets? Any grocery stores or gear shops give out discount tickets/coupons? Either I suck at searching or this hasn’t been asked since they changed their website and got off the discount website a couple years ago.

Generally how accurate is snow-forecast.com? They have the windy hill getting dumped on next Saturday.

Commuting conditions were all time yesterday evening and this morning. I will take empty ice-packed roads over the typical melange of pencil-dicked white trash in lifted trucks and H1B'ers in summer-tire clad sedans every day and twice on Sunday.

System's still parked over Yakima. Satus pass is going off. Go get some.

The weather models seem to be converging on the next system dropping in from Canada Friday or Saturday. We know it's going to stay cold, so I guess the question is how much moisture this system will bring. I'd say chances are good but it could be like yesterday where the lowlands get as much or more snow than the mountains.

There appears to be a glitch in the matrix.

The chart in Cliff Mass' blog shows a decent hit of snow, but a whole lot less optimistic than snow-forecast:

Yeah what happened to him?
Wedged in a crevasse? Shipped back to the South?
Seemed like a genuine dude despite the massive gape.
