Pretty sure no public winter recreation is allowed on Yakama Nation land. I'm not from around there though so someone please correct me if it's changed.

According to this ^ winter recreation is prohibited in the areas you are looking to ski until July. I have contacted the YN directly in the past to request beta/access for spring BC skiing with pretty good results.
Access to all aspects of Adams is pretty limited without a sled until May in an average year. On the south side, FS 82 is always plowed to pineside, sometimes plowed to pipeline, and almost never plowed to smith butte. FS 80 is never maintained for winter travel. Don't miss out on the spring/summer ski season up there.

we got 257th tracks on heliotrope with no one but these 3 today:
i've never seen it so ravaged. it looked like a resort. i blame facebook. still, was nice to get out there. snow was inversion-baked to cream cheese but still fun. was nice to have the place pretty much to ourselves even if it was pretty tracked.
light was pretty cool:

Is snow sticking around at pass/PCT level around snoqualmie and hyak? No intention of putting skis on, but thinking of taking a walk around with the dog and dont really want to be dealing with hiking through 4" of refrozen over slippery rocks. Maybe if i fully clean and service my MTB this week it will be the equivalent of putting summer tires back on the car and anti-jinx the snow?

SNOW IN THE PNW 2018-19
It's more or less a PNW meme that has been repeated here and in other regional threads for as long as I can remember.

Speaking of that base... there are some massive hoar crystals forming above 4k. I'm sure this warmer midweek rain event will destroy it below 6k but I'd be wary of that layer higher up

What about all the snow xtal is making? Heard a rumor that they could be open by 11/24, but can't imagine the man-made snow will survive...

Mission Ridge is busily making the WROD. I hope it doesn't come to that.
