I got super lucky and scored a triple. I hope my kids grow up to appreciate having a chair they all learned to ski on.. and first chair ever ridden...

Almost all of my friends who used to buy Summit passes have gone Ikonic this season. I'm guessing the Southern Resort is gonna be quite crowded this winter, I hope they have an umbrella big enough for all their new "locals" to hang-out beneath. Seems to me like weekdays will be even quieter on the padded seats as will weekends down the street.

I like hearing that. At least until Boyne gets bought by Alterra and goes full Ikon.

I'll say it again... this EPIONIC shit is not good for the ski industry long term.

Last year was the best on Saturdays I'd seen in almost 10 years at the Padded Seats. Between Epic sending their folks to Stevens and Ikon driving people to Crystal, Alpental was finally able to have some manageable crowds. I just want it to stay as it is and not go full Ikon/Epic.
