Crustal got a solid freeze last night then went bluebee today and served up some sweet creamed corn for the closing day. Ran it until the last chair.

Alterra, you're not doing badly, but damn it would be nice to be able to take advantage of Green Valley in June.

Seems a bit touchy out there! Ridge on the approach to Eldorado went pretty big apparently (not my photo):

Whichever one of you longboarders I was talking to about Hurricane ridge--here's some stoke. All-time spring turns, but damn it's disappearing fast.

    https://www.snowboarder.com/featured...-superpark-22/

"It's official! We've teamed up with Snowboarder Magazine to bring Superpark22 to Crystal next week. Build teams are busy creating features on the trails off Forest Queen. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement later today about how you can get access to watch this private event in person! "

Private event on public land... irks.

Cool, closed early two years ago to put in a heated umbrella, and then closed early this year to build a private 'superpark'.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

I suspect there might be enough outrage for them to do it differently. Very odd though.

    Surprise!

This will no doubt include denying uphill access. The wrath of TAY to be unleashed!

Fucking assholes. How can they enforce this if people don't buy a lift ticket?

Maybe some people will bother to share their thoughts:

from the CM event page on their site:

" All 19/20 Ikon Pass holders will have access to the venue. They’ll simply need to stop by the ticket window to get a ticket"

I just want access to Silver Basin.

As far as being included, I'm used to my role as pariah.
