My companies winter party is tonight at the W in downtown. Should be a pretty interesting journey down there and back.
I am actually really surprised they didn't cancel it. They sprung for UberX but I will be driving myself for sure.

Reposting my own modified content for the lulz:

I was impressed at how empty the golf course was last night. The only folks in the pass were locals & those at the brewery for the snosk8 movie. Guessing it's gonna be similar tonight. As a bonus, all the after school ski buses are cancelled

The whole jobsite just evacuated... Traffic begins. I’m going to do a few hours of paperwork, volunteered to stay and lock the gates, wait it out....

    You a construction guy too?

Within 30 seconds of the first flakes at 1 my whole jobsite looked like a sea of rats running out of the building.

Can see i5 stopped and all surface streets are gridlocked around us. I'll be at work for a while...

A 'sea' of Flatlanders in a Landscape of Hilly Terrain with 4-6" fresh, Temps below 32 deg: There will be some posts/pics on here that will be pretty interesting over the next few days. Hope everybody comes out alright and enjoys the event, lol.
I used to live up there so I know how it can be, especially with all the traffic. Good Luck, Be Careful

My oldest son already slipped and got hit from behind in Issaquah. Complete disaster out there. We have 3-4" already and it's way slicker than the snow earlier this week. Stuck cars/minivans at every small hill. Lots of folks pulling over and walking.

Roads are fine in the city. I'll be riding a Lime Bike home.

I'm sure driving to the mountains will be a mess tomorrow.

Snowpocalypse a bit of a bust at my house (Haller Lake) so far. Maybe we've picked up a couple inches. Still snowing lightly, but I was expecting a little more than this...

Complete and utter shitshow for a few hours there. On cougar mtn and had dozens of abandoned vehicles and a stalled school bus with 20 kids still on it. Police ended up shutting down both lakemont and village park drive leaving peeps a 2-3 mile walk up 1000’ of vert from Newport.

I felt bad for the hapless souls walking uphill and taxied 5 trips of strangers up the hill. Half of whom were schlepping packages and groceries. Recd a years worth of gratitude and appreciation. Karma meter fully recharged
