Max face ripping pnw pow blasting paster storm skiing is THE BEST. Track filling accumulations, 3 tower visibility. Lots of faceshots in the fringes. Love the honking cascade baler storms.

Seconded. Plenty of rad if you truly know the hill. Just overrun with jerrys whining about lack of terrain and good snow while they take up space in the lodge, sideslip entire chutes, traverse all the steep trees, and generally fuck the place up.

I've lived and skied in WA for 20 years and am finally hitting WP this coming weekend. Would welcome any tips on where to head (feel free to message if that's better). I don't need any secret stashes (and who knows what the snow will look like?), just a general vicinity on where to go during the brief times I'll be kid free.

Got a few laps at Stevens yesterday afternoon, where it was firm it was very firm and where it was soft, it was knee deep dry’nlight. Been snowing steadily in der town, I bet today could be good.

Different. Upper mountain was great Monday despite the random scrapy spots. Tuesday was a gasser with classic track filling howler pow snow storm; literally covering tracks between runs. Highlight of Tuesday was snaking the locals stashes.

I tried to drive up to Alpental but got a flat on 90 along with two other people, right at the same place. Ended up watching my kid eat popcorn at the tire shop. Next time we'll take the North Bend shuttle.

Screw tire changes in the winter (or any time really) sealant smart spare kits will get you to a tire shop with much less suffering involved.
