    Hey! I resemble that remark.

Ended up going straight up Gold Creek. Was pleasantly surprised it was mostly on snow with only minor slide alder shenanigans up by Alaska where it's melted out. My guess is by this weekend GC will be toast and access via Silver Creek will also be questionable.

Anyone have any suggestions for some dispersed camping by a creek accessible by SUV? Looking to car camp this weekend (as im sure 75% of the seattle population is as well). Im not looking for directions, just looking for some pointers on general areas to ask the ranger stations about for their"exact" suggestions. East of the crest, west of the crest, south of rainier, peninsula... all are welcome.

Anybody been to Washington Pass on 20 lately? Wondering snow beta. Low snow year up there combined with extended temps over freezing per SNOTEL. Current spring snow stability and coverage mostly. Trying to decide it doing a tour is worth it right now or if I should just plan on biking Sun Mountain.

Iím skiing tomorrow and Friday too, and Iíll be biking both days, so why not do both?
BTW, those tracks were just round dimples in the snow today. So those were under 12 hours old.

Thanks @plugboots Leave some for the rest of us. Looks like some bare spots with plenty of coverage yet. Would love to spot a cat in the wild.

I'm gonna go be dumb and try this - I'm kinda hoping for a shitshow actually, just because if they sell tickets we might have more weekends next season (maybe that's totally wishful, I dunno.) I haven't been out in the mountains enough lately to have a sense of the weather, do you think tomorrow or monday will be better?

Almost nobody there. Great weather. Very variable snow. Pretty much have to walk through dirt and rocks too get to where snow starts.

The southern resort's finest added quite a few Alpentalics to their book of troublemakers today. Oops...
