I know the people involved in that redesign and I know the designer of the new logo. She used to be an Alpental local before she got sick of standing in line for chair 2 and Nash Gate never opening. I do like your interpretation of it better, though, Brit

You didn't fire up the Kendall stump? I was hoping to live vicariously through your adventure - would you have hiked from PCT or biked from Gold Creek? Doooo it!

There's not that much up there, but I'd reckon biking in from Gold Creek would be the way to go

This morning on Bandera. About 6" up top. Not quite enough yet, but maybe by next week if it can stay cold enough.

That gate has been open every possible day, she’s doing it wrong

And I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those meddeling patrollers closing Nash gate!

The off road/snow capability of those Evoques is legendary.

I realize this is not the case, but the yellow pants guy appears to be lifting a leg to take a piss on the tire (note hand position). That reaction would be completely appropriate given the situation. A perimeter of urine around the perpetrator would be prefect.

The way access is controlled to the southern volcano, I'd guess there's gonna be quite a bit of waiting at the gate and frustrated social media posts in the near future
