    Favorite Movie Soundtrack

So I'm at the cottage alone and after a long day of bird hunting with my dogs I enjoyed a good steak with a bottle of wine. While eating dinner I watched two movies with my favorite soundtracks, The Crow and Queen of the Damned. After multiple pours of Talisker Storm and a pour of Eagle Rare during the movies I am curious as to what are your favorite movie soundtracks?

Jesus an Mary Chain from The Crow soundtrack is probably my favorite of all of the songs.

If you like classic tunes and the way Scorsese evolves from the 50's to the 70's, the soundtrack for Goodfellas is hard to beat. I like metal though so the tunes from Steel Dragon in Rock Star are some of my favorites as well.

Spawn was another one that had a bunch of those 90's era mash ups. Middle school me was psyched on it.

Gotta feel that we wouldn't have had The Crow or Spawn-type soundtracks if it weren't for the granddaddy of the genre:

    HEAVY METAL

I still have the cassette I bought back in 1981.

I have all of the above. If you like Repo Man, check out Valley Girl and Trainspotting.

Forest Gump is a good one that covers 60s and 70s pretty well. American Pie is a good one for the late 90s-early 00s. I also like Empire Records for more recent, late 90s and early 00s.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

Ennio Morricone and Elmer Bernstein scores FTW. My favorite is Morricone's score for Duck You Sucker! aka Fistful of Dynamite.

I love the music of some of the old classic musicals, e.g., Music Man, Oklahoma, Carousel

Ha, I just watched Once Upon A Time In The West last night. Morricone composed some classic stuff.

There's an awful lot of good 60s tunes on the soundtrack to good morning vietnam.

Saw Don Felder do Heavy Metal a few weeks ago, had no idea he wrote it. probably haven't heard that tune since the 80s before that.

Hells ya! Still have the vinyl.

If you can get into brit soundtracks, Trainspotting is fun.
Fear and Loathing Las Vegas always has a place on a road trip.
Edit to add: also Natural Born Killers
