Also, not to steal this thread's thunder, but Open Snow's website update now allows you to select snow stakes to add to your homepage (at least for all-access members, not sure about free members). Nice feature.

Well, I did make that post #5

But they just added a storm total board in addition to the 24 hour one. I have a feeling they're going to need a bigger storm board over the next few days.

Yes but is this where they measure for their reporting as well? Seems like this would be the exact opposite of what other reports are accused of and under report.

Im at Steamboat this morning and I’m pretty sure they overreported.

I skied steamboat as well this morning. Felt like a good 11". Most fell before the groomers got out so anything groomed skied like 3-4 but in the trees there was definitely 11.

Eh. I skied there all day all over the mountain, including the hike-to terrain. I’d say 7 or 8 at the most.

On social media, Eldora was trying to get lots of PR mileage out of its snow stake. Look at us, how cool are we, check out the snow stake! When all they did was catch up to every single other resort.

Still, glad they did finally catch up.

2020 BUMP - Eldora and additional Monarch cams have been added. Fingers crossed this storm delivers.
Silverton & Wolf Creek need to get with the program, we want to see the San Juan nukage!
