Salomon S/Lab X-Alp boot durability

These boots have been out for a while now -- it'd be great to hear from anyone who's had either a good or a bad experience with how they hold up. As I understand it Salomon avoided the catastrophic failures that the Procline was prone to by, well, not putting weak bits in critical locations... but, for instance, does the lateral ankle mobility (which is the main reason I'm interested in them) introduce any problems?

I put in about 50 substantial days in mine last season, without any issue. They’re obviously not powerhouse boots, but they’re incredibly comfortable and a pleasure to walk in, so for big days in the mountains and smooth turns I love em.
