Guess this location!
If you correctly guess the spot, I’ll confirm. It’s not hugely out if the way or secret, so I’m not giving away anybody’s stash. PNW mags will be most likely to succeed....

that's a beautiful line though. you ever see John scurlocks photo of it?
took me a few seconds, until I noticed argonaut in the background.
I'll take a stab at the date though. July 7th.
and how did you all fit on that little scooter?

June 17! It’s such a cool spot to poke around- midwinter as well.
The bike rode ok, but i need to refine that rigging a bit, the tips did drag on deeper left turns.
Here’s a few more...
The last one is credited to a friend, not mine.

technically, norseman was correct too. you cant hit pandoras box without chucking coal.
I was close though! was guessing by the sun angle. wasnt solstice, but I corrected the incorrect direction. .
it's been a few years. are many people going up mountaineers creek trail in the winter nowadays?

Yeah, that’s true, my apologies to Norse. Gotta do both!
Good guess on time of year, i was scratching my head about how you chose. I haven’t heard a lot about other folks going up mountaineers midwinter, but I get up there on occasion so it must get traffic now and then. So much to do.

that's good to hear. I think the price of admission keeps it relatively quiet back there. thought the influx of new people might make it a touch busier. doesnt sound like it.
it's more of a destination then daytrip in the winter for most.

Fun game. Main trick is posting content without giving away stashes. Let’s keep it going, back shortly...

How about a broad limitation: if you can find an online trip report by googling the name, its fair game for guessing the location. Secrets, real or imagined, stay secret. By personal introduction only.
