    Guess this location!

If you correctly guess the spot, Iíll confirm. Itís not hugely out if the way or secret, so Iím not giving away anybodyís stash. PNW mags will be most likely to succeed....Click image for larger version.

that's a beautiful line though. you ever see John scurlocks photo of it?

took me a few seconds, until I noticed argonaut in the background.

I'll take a stab at the date though. July 7th.

and how did you all fit on that little scooter?

June 17! Itís such a cool spot to poke around- midwinter as well.

The bike rode ok, but i need to refine that rigging a bit, the tips did drag on deeper left turns.

Hereís a few more...Click image for larger version.

technically, norseman was correct too. you cant hit pandoras box without chucking coal.

I was close though! was guessing by the sun angle. wasnt solstice, but I corrected the incorrect direction. .

it's been a few years. are many people going up mountaineers creek trail in the winter nowadays?

Yeah, thatís true, my apologies to Norse. Gotta do both!
Good guess on time of year, i was scratching my head about how you chose. I havenít heard a lot about other folks going up mountaineers midwinter, but I get up there on occasion so it must get traffic now and then. So much to do.

that's good to hear. I think the price of admission keeps it relatively quiet back there. thought the influx of new people might make it a touch busier. doesnt sound like it.
it's more of a destination then daytrip in the winter for most.

I'm lousy at this game. GP and Dakobeds in the background.

ETA: I'll take a flyer: Skinning up to JH via the divide between Lanham Creek and Henry Creek.

How about a broad limitation: if you can find an online trip report by googling the name, its fair game for guessing the location. Secrets, real or imagined, stay secret. By personal introduction only.

I've done the railroad approach, and lower clearcut. drain did pass... it was like 10 miles long.
