For the amount of money it would take to colonize Mars, Venus, or the Moon, we could fix the problems we have on the planet that's pretty much perfect. Living in a nightmare scenario is so much fun!

Legit scientists believe we're not far from genetic mutation allowing women to reproduce without men at all.
Is there any reproductive future left for men?
Kinda explains all the misogyny in the Bible and other holy books.. This is what men fear most, women not needing us at all..
One question though.. Who will cut the grass??Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

I'd hate to distract from the enlightened discussion of biodiversity and conservation going on here, but the sensationalism of the headlines all over the internet about this report is a little frustrating. Journalists reporting on science should be scientifically literate (everyone should but let's start small eh?) and it's pretty obvious many aren't. Here's a great article about the report from one who is: https://www.theatlantic.com/science/...cLpSARC9uLJSMc
"...no hobby should either seek or need rational justification. To find reasons why it is useful or beneficial converts it at once from an avocation into an industry, lowers it at once to the ignominious category of an exercise undertaken for health, power or profit."
