Praxis Wootest version 2 187
Praxis Wootest 187
OK maggots, make me an offer.
$300 or best offer.
FLEX 4
Pretty solid still. Bases still have good structure.
Mounted for 334 bsl
Ultralight core ~ 8.3 lbs at this length per the Praxis website
I think these are a bit lighter due to the ultralight core.
124-113-116
Skinnier version of famed Praxis Protest
Skis are in overall very good shape. Small bit of topsheet scraping/chipping mostly along the tails. A few pole dings in topsheet. Topsheet damage is virtually all cosmetic. Couldn't even get good photos of damage.
Bases are in near-perfect condition except for one minor scuffed spot on one ski and a few very minor scratches.
Edges are in fine shape, although a bit dull and slightly burred up.
Edges detuned down to the rocker.
Tech binding setup franken style with Dynafit Speed Rad toes and Plum Guide heels. I've been using this same binding setup on three different skis and have had no problems with them.
I would rather keep the bindings but would be willing to pass them on for an extra $150.
Wenatchee, WA area. Would prefer to meet directly with buyer. Willing to meet at Stevens for dropoff if Seattle folks are interested.

Since there's no price, I'll take them with the franken bindings for $150 total.

I'll raise you to $150 without the bindings!

Fack, well there's a jong move . . .
Simultaneous post with craigslist and somehow lost the price. Edited original post.
Skis are flex 4.
Anyway, $350 for just the skis. $500 for both skis and bindings. Not gonna sell the bindings separately unless i sell the skis first.
I actually kinda want to keep the bindings but they are available with the skis.Last edited by HotSchmoo; 10-30-2018 at 12:32 AM. Reason: WOOTEST!

Hmmm, could've sworn when i bought these the Praxis site said 8.3-8.4 pounds for a 187. That's for the stock layup though and i ordered the ultralite core so it'd be a bit lower. I'd kinda figured it was about 8# for the pair. Sure wish i'd weighed them before mounting now.
Praxis has changed their cores since i purchase though so i guess 7.8 could be correct at least for the CURRENT ski. Prob not mine though.
Interesting tho and got me thinking so did a little digging.
Bathroom scale says 9.8# for the pair.
Needless to say may not be accurate. But---
9.8# so
4445g
-876g for the bindings
=3569g for skis and shims
(couldn't find a weight for shims but only add a smidge.)
So 7.86# or so for skis, makes me want to keep em a little more, haha!
I'll add that these do in fact ski any kind of soft snow super well. Just want to trade out for something a bit skinnier and mid-20 sidecut to be better on firmer stuff.

Nah, looking for something ~110 ish. Was gonna pick up some some synapse 109 for that touring slot, but ladyfriend reminded me of the budget. So i waited till next paycheck and bought bodacious's for ski area duty since the synapses had sold out.
