We have it figured out. Choose where to live based on your preferred foot wear. From left to right - Grand, Summit, Eagle County

As it would happen, I have the 5.10's and the sidis and I live in both counties. I'd say you are on to something.

    I have the 5.10's
    5.10 Freedrider s: 2018
    Smith Sliders : 1995

I would imagine anybody buying a house in the mountains will get their ExpertyVoice login credentials in the welcome pack from their realtor. I think you get a Rab puffy and an Askals flat brim also. My sources on the inside say that, new this year, is some fabric weathering ointment and some faux gorilla tape patches such that the appropriate dirtbag chic can be currated in order to let the Real Locals (tm) distinguish themselves from the poser Front Rangers.

What the hell? Goldenboy neglected to send my welcome pack when we threw down in Gunnison (where by the way, Foggy's trio of foot wear fits in nicely)

    So what have we concluded?

Everyone, regardless of where they live, is an insufferable douche.

    Seems reasonable.

That was the I-70 pack. The West Elk pack is a little different. You get a clapped out townie bike, YouTube of how to load your sled in the back of your pickup and a pair of muck boots.

Well that explains it! Since I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming I am good to go on the sled loading and the muck boots, and Mrs Teleee is a college professor form Fort Collins so good to go on clapped out townie bikes!

Eagle - bro has two pair of high heels, put crampon spikes on one
Summit - bro can only afford one pair of the high heels
Grand - bro has two pair of high heels because farm animals have 4 hoofs

I feel pretty lighthearted and carefree when I see a closed area for elk calving.

I’d move to Cheyenne or Laramie. Better access to JH. And CO is full.

OP, suck it up and move to Eagle (or Minturn)! Don't listen to these bitch ass haters who can't drive over Vail Pass. When it snows a TON, you don't drive to Denver (or leave early). Vail Pass is hardly a big deal most of the year. Remember it's a 12-month year.

Put your kids in to the Vail Ski/Snowboard Academy in Minturn and buy some Ski Town All Star stock (STAS).
