    There isn't a viable skiout.
    Let it simmer.

Avalanche advisory is looking a little spooky right now. Stay safe out there. Didn't see any real signs out there today but trod cautiously.

Some good info above. Hopefully this inversion settles things out a little up high

Maybe it went later? I saw basically just sluff from a bomb with no crown when we were skinning up. Didn't seem like any kind of propagation as well as nothing but sluff moving on whiplash which patrol skiied.

I'm assuming no new terrain opening with Garbo, just provides another way up from the mid-station area?

I stood at the top around 2pm yesterday. Saw the bomb holes but didn't really see propagation from them, but 2 debris piles out bottom. Dunno, maybe bombs remote triggered elsewhere. Thought about skiing it but couldn't get the word 'spooky' out of my mind from a recent report. Didn't seem at all worth it anyway with more rocks than snow in the exit.

Had a nice sunny pow run down groomer off 7th. Horstman and Blackcomb glacier skiing well too but were tracked out by end of day. But overall this sucks and so does the forecast. No motivation to bike in frozen Pemb either!

Correct. Unless we count skiing down the offload ramp as a new run.

There were lots of people skiing down into the village just now from the Whistler side, so there must finally be a continuous trail of snow from mid gondola.

Is that reason enough for a new thread? (Maybe not starting a thread is the jinx?)

Eldereldo suggested today that if no one starts a new thread before the yearend we may as well just call it Whistler conditions 2020/21 and be covered for next season as well.
