Relax folks. I'm buying a new bike. That should trigger epic valley floor dumpage.

Snow stake cam looks good this morning, at least.

More snow coming, but a pineapple washout on Monday might be a drag. Still, it's Whistler so things usually work out better in reality than they play out in my head.

My guess is all of these concerns are but a distant memory by Christmas when the real tourists show up to give y'all something serious to complain about.

The one run on Blackcomb was skiing well first thing this morning. Since then it’s been pretty busy.

Off the piste was literally rock yesterday, but now has 15cm on top so obviously everyone is sending it into the rocks.

We are pushing to open Choker run to Catskinner lift as I speak, should be ready for weekend hopefully.

Is Zig Zag going to be open?

I'll be up tomorrow to partake in the madness.

No, snow runs out at corner 5 on the summer road so there is no way to get to the bottom Excel.

Haha saw that as well. Maybe WB meant you cannot skin up inbounds? Would expect a bigger uproar if they were trying to stop people exiting the resort boundary or if they changed the temp boundary policy.

Saw various other people on IG skiing off rocks in Ratfink and other areas. Dumb.

I figure since they're telling everyone NOT to download from Blackcomb that's actually the thing to do. Can't be worse than this fiasco.

I like your optimism. who's got a line on some virgins? All the weather models indicate we should stop wasting time and get to sacrificing post haste.

Wayne saying the models are converging on 2400m? RIP snowpack. Gonna be hard on the bike trails too, 100-150mm forecast for the north shore in 24h.

Epic Mix says I rode Catskinner 12 times between 9:00 and noon today. I'm not sure I ever rode the old Catskinner.
