I tried to get on, and was glad I did, an interesting process all around.

And by the way. There was an incident on chair four that stopped the chair for some time. When we went to load it later a couple chairs came around that had been flagged with surveyor’s tape. One of the chairs seat back and seat were bent backwards like a reclining couch. The head lifty was bumping chairs and I asked him if that was what hung up the chair earlier. He said it was and that it was sabotaged by off-loaders. He also said they were caught.
He said they swung it back as they offloaded.
My two questions are: Is that physically possible? And what should the punishment be?

18" in 48 hrs
Windy Hill Country Club was in full effect today. Didn't lift a ski uphill and managed face shots on every run I took until TCP.
El Nino? More like El Ninyah.

So the misses and I will be in Leavenworth for a wedding in early May. It is going to be a fairly short trip, basically a Friday to Monday thing. I have no idea if MR will still be open. Would there be enough snow for some worthwhile skin laps? Is it even allowed or frowned upon? Maybe Stevens is a better option?

Skinning is allowed whenever the resort is not in operation. The resort usually closes the second weekend of April but has the option to operate on weekends through April 30. Get started early and ski a microwave lap (or a few), then bowl 4 or sugar bowl to the base. The sun does a good job of warming the corn that time of year. S facing aspects are mush by 9.
