FS: Fritschi Vipec Black AT Bindings

SOLD Have a pair of Fritschi Vipec Black touring bindings for sale. These are in excellent condition, and were used 1.5 seasons by my wife (who skis at 5.5 din and doesn't huck). No functional damage to any part of the binding, just minor wear and tear. These are good to go and include a couple different clip options for the front toe to dial in the release with your boot. I believe the brakes were a 100mm width, but they look like they would be fine up to about 108mm, maybe 110mm, without any mods. Buyer pays fees if using PP goods/services payment.

Local deal would be great! These differ from the Evo primarily in the toe piece. The evo toe has a sliding bumpstop that triggers the release when in ski mode. This means you don't have to bench test the interaction between your boot toe and the binding toe lever to see which snap-on fitting makes the release work. But the new vipec toe also has caused issues for some folks when in walk mode if they fall forward because the new bumpstop will punch in the toes of the boots (at least most touring boots). I haven't heard of the denting issue occurring with the Vipec Black toes. The included spacers should allow you to set up the binding to work with most AT boots.

Wildsnow has some geekery about the new toe and a comparison of the evo heal and the older heal (albeit the 1st gen heal, which probably was slightly different to the Black) here: https://www.wildsnow.com/21378/frits...-tecton-vipec/ https://www.wildsnow.com/24031/frits...el-comparison/ https://www.wildsnow.com/23780/frits...-teardown-evo/

Also, here's a general review of the Black version on Wildsnow: https://www.wildsnow.com/20200/frits...pec-12-review/
