Utah Snow and Avalanche Workshop October 27th

I’m Tomasz with the Utah Avalanche Center. On October 27th UAC is hosting the 11th annual Utah Snow and Avalanche Workshop. A great refresher for experienced backcountry users, USAW offers the Utah backcountry community the opportunity to collaborate and learn from experienced snow professionals. The format will be 15 minute presentations by forecasters, avalanche and snow scientists, patrollers, guides, ski industry manufacturers, skiers, boarders, and snowmobilers, each followed by a Q&A.

There will be a motorized session specifically addressing the concerns and information pertinent to snowmobilers and snow-bikers. Register for the motorized session here:

Last year USAW sold out, so save money and register in advance by October 24th at noon. After that tickets will be available at the door for $55. Included with your ticket is lunch, coffee/beverages, and a post workshop happy hour.
