Moved up to Waterbury area for Feb/March, psyched to be able to ski mid-week again!

Got a first tour up at Bolton this AM. Cold, clear, and gorgeous, with views all the way to Whiteface.

Skied some great crystalized pow while we poked around but mostly skied short stuff to flats. Will have to dig around more to find the sustained pitches.

Got in a great xc and powsurf day yesterday while managing not to go off the 40 like so many others. Way some people drive you would think it never snows up here.

NWS gray backing off snow totals. Will BVT and Albany follow suit?

6-12" is what I've seen all along. CVT snow belt sort of visible in that forecast.

What had been 6-12" predicted in So. VT is now 4-8" on many forecasts.

I swear I've never seen another soul in the Mighty Stoke - not even in blue bird pow. Even the chairs are empty.

The Mrs. grew up at the soup bowl. Gotta get down

Well, to be fair, we do pick and choose our pics AND, the triple was closed but if you know the secret handshake there's ways around that. But, if you do not know said handshake, you are supremely fubared (think long, slow slog of pain). Please let us know if you are down this way. It's a fun place on the right day. Warning though - we are VERY serious skiers. Any fun or laughter is strictly verboten.
