From Eye on the Sky Fairbanks Museum:
The NEK get White Shadowed as usual.Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Uggh, This just popped up in my Facebook feed:
https://vtskiandride.com/wild-side-p...jeghcM4byi1zgs
All about how to ski trees and nothing about being prepared before going out of bounds . I foresee a shit show of side country rescues in the next few weeks.Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Common Sense Need not apply to the above. In fact, I predict a shit show of epic proportions this weekend, Patriots or not...It's probably epically cool to watch the pats in VT nowadays. I digress. Conditions were sweet yesterday and today and regardless of a billion hockey/football jerseys, it's going to be bomber.
I suggest we award Big Daddy's ridiculous score to who ever posts the most pics of east coast avy bags from the weekend

Ha, good thing I'm not drinking yet, probably would have spit on my phone!
You coming north this weekend?
BD, did they bring the forklift in and put it down in your truck bed I hope?
Fun day on the mellow terrain in VTF's backyard with the mrs today, Lushsicle on tap was a nice surprise.Last edited by FussyDutchman; 01-18-2019 at 05:26 PM.

Is that showing isolated 30" for Mt. Snow area???
Our Peak Passes are blacked out, but might spring for a lift ticket at Snow still if they're gonna get the goods! Was also thinking about Killington or Wildcat, who's supposed to get nailed also. I don't have any discounts available for Magic other than Liftopia, which appear to have gone up since yesterday.

Oh I know. Just means Magic is more expensive today than it was yesterday so makes me less inclined to go there.
We have a Peak Pass, but didn't opt for the one including blackouts. Though even if I buy tickets this 1 holiday day it would be cheaper than the full pass price since generally we stay away on holidays. This one seems worth it though!

Hey guys, can someone tell me where the most snow, fewest people, easiest drive, Recco transcieverest (I have a $1000 Kjuss jacket), most free Treehouse-est, most complimentary whoopie-pie-est, naked-est ladies-est mountain will be in VT this weekend? Also, are white-walled tires the snow-proof ones?
Ok, thanks, bye-ee.

I really don’t have any problem with money going to the venues in Lake Placid. They really do need it. The only problem I have is the complete lack of money for anything at either Gore or Belleayre. Gore in particular has been having a lot of problems with their lifts and their snowmaking this year. They could really use a couple extra bucks sent their way.
